Mat Pilates
Our contemporary mat classes will work the core, balance, stability, flexibility and strength, all in a functional, low impact class. Benefits of pilates matwork include enhanced spinal articulation, strengthening the core and coordination of the extremities and increased flexibility through muscular control. This class includes movements standing, sitting, lying face up and facedown to engage the core and work the extremities, as well as enhance pelvic stabilization and spinal control, using various props including towels, balls, and bands to enhace the benefits of a mat Pilates class.
